Throughout Australia, Sydney Harbour is known as the home of yacht racing. Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta was established three years ago and has been growing with every year. The event sees an influx of around 250 competing yachts together with some 2000 sailors along with dozens of spectator craft. Sydney Harbour Regatta is now a must attend event in the yachting calendar alongside Sydney to Hobart, Skandia Geelong Week and Audi Hamilton Island Race Week.

Corporate Race Charter
This is a unique opportunity to take part in this major yachting event, racing in the exclusive corporate class. Our corporate race charter packages range from one day to three days sailing and offers your guests the opportunity to experience everything that this amazing regatta has to install.

We will work with you to provide the perfect race package for your specific requirements. From a production Beneteau 40.7 yacht to the matched Sydney 36’s. We have the knowledge, ability and experience to deliver the ultimate participation event!

The support does not stop on the water, we provide a complete regatta support package which includes everything from transport, catering for lunch and dinner and also branded clothing.

The Yachts
EMG use a number of different types of race charter yacht each individually selected to suit your specific requirements. All are commercially licensed, in excellent condition and are high quality sailing yachts. The principle choice of yacht for corporate racing at Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta is the Beneteau 40.7, a fast, maneuverable and forgiving forty foot yacht or the matched Sydney 36’s , once again a very good performance race yacht with many victories to its name. Both yachts provide a high level of competition between like minded crews.

The Crew
Each yacht will have a professional crew of two/three (dependant on yacht selected) for the duration of the charter. Both skipper and mate will have extensive race charter and corporate charter experience. Both skipper and mate will have training in safety procedures and first aid. Crews are selected for their sailing ability, their experience in corporate hospitality charter environments, their racing experience and their ability to communicate both professionally and socially with their guests, while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere on board.

Our Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta programme is designed for all ages and abilities and sailing experience is not required.

09.30: Guests arrive at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club where breakfast, teas and coffees will be served in a private area of the yacht club.

09.45: The day’s race briefing will be conducted by the Commodore of MHYC.

10.00: The Skippers will lead you down to your vessels where they will run through a full safety brief and an overview of jobs that will need to be filled while racing.

10.15: The boats will depart the Marina where the crews will have a practice sail before commencing race one at approximately 11:30am.

13.30: Your crew lunches will be handed out onboard the yachts whilst leisurely sailing around.

14.15: The start of race two will move into its start sequence. Once again we will move into the star sequence of race three 10 minutes after the last boat finishes.

16.30: The yachts will make their way back to the marina where there will be a post race reception BBQ and drinks on the beach of Middle Harbour Yacht Club.
